FAQ: STOP'd Phone Numbers
Question: How does the system handle a patron sending a STOP text message to the auction phone number?
Answer: If a patron sends a STOP message, MobilBid will flag that patron's phone number and no longer send them any further SMS messages. The ONLY way for them to resume receiving SMS (this has no effect on emails) is to send a START message to the same number. An auction administrator can verify if a patron is flagged as STOPPED by looking at the individual's profile - see screenshot. An administrator cannot reset a patron's profile and clear the STOP flag - only the patron can do that, from their own phone.
