FAQ: Invalid Phone Numbers
Question: How does the system handle invalid phone numbers (e.g. a typo, or keying a landline number rather than a mobile number)?
Answer: If the MobilBid platform detects that a phone number entered by a patron or administrator is "undeliverable" for text messages (it has no effect on email), it will automatically flag that patron's phone number and no longer send them any further SMS messages. An auction administrator can verify if a patron is flagged as INVALID by looking at the individual's profile - see screenshot. An administrator can reset a patron's profile and clear the INVALID flag by editing the phone number and saving a new (e.g. different) number.
