FAQ: Item Description Word Limit

Question:  Is there a limit on the number of words, or characters that an auction item description can have?

Answer: There is no technical limit on item descriptions, but you want to limit the descriptions so that guests can actually read them on their phones.  We suggest no more than approximately 200 words or 1000 characters.  Not a problem if you go over that, but recognize it will likely not get read and will make it harder for guests to navigate and bid.
