FAQ: Patrons not able to Bid

Question:  A guest is reporting they cannot bid.  They can get to the bidding screen, but the system does not seen to accept their bid.

Answer #1:  This is usually attributed to using older iPhones that have not been updated to the most current iOS, or on a desktop using Internet Explorer (which was replaced by Microsoft with the Edge browser in 2015.)  Update as needed.  On desktop/laptop computers we recommend the Chrome browser.

Answer #2: When a committee member tests an auction, but that auction is closed, and a duplicate auction is run for real, **AND** the person's patron profile is deleted, so that they register again - the cookie in their web browser still remembers the OLD auction.  Have the person close their web browser, delete/clear their browser cookies, and text to the provided number for the auction.
