TICKET SALES

We frequently get asked if MobilBid is capable of selling tickets to events, or allowing guests to register for events.

Currently we don't offer these options.  While we see the value in offering such features, we recognize that tickets sales and event registration is a complicated business, and there are many capable vendors out there.

We've done some research and would suggest looking at three vendors:

• EventBrite (https://eventbrite.com) seems to be the gold standard.  Fully featured, widely used, and one can easily export lists of attendees that can be imported to MobIlBid.  Probably the most expensive option, but it will work for any event.
• TicketSpice (https://www/ticketspice.com) looks like it has most of the features required for the types of events we see our clients running.  It can export lists of attendees to be imported into MobilBid.  Much less expensive than EventBrite.
• TicketTailor (https://tickettailor.com) is very reasonably priced (US $0.65/ticket, charity discount available) and Stripe is their recommended payment processor.  It seems to have a reasonable number of features and allows lists of attendees to be exported, which can be imported into MobilBid.  This is our personal favourite, but as we have not actually used it, we encourage you to test it out for yourself.
