FAQ: Item Title Word Limit

Question:  Is there a limit on the number of words, or characters that an auction item title can have?

Answer: There is no technical limit on item titles, but you want to limit the title so that guests can easily read them on their phones.  We suggest no more than approximately 10 words or 50 characters.  Not a problem if you go over that, but recognize it will make it harder for guests to navigate and bid.
