FAQ: Can I disable Stripe Payments for One Auction?

Question:  As a MobilBid VAR, we normally process payments through our Stripe.com account and remit funds to our charity clients - but we have a client who wants to collect payments "offline" - how do we **NOT** offer online payments (but retain our connected Stripe account for other clients)?

Answer: Effective September 1, 2020, you can disable Stripe on an auction-by-auction basis.  Set the option from within the Auction Settings (Auction Dashboard >> left-side menu >> Settings >> Auction Settings:  there is a checkbox for "Disable Credit Cards".)

Notes:  

• When ticked, this will remove all online payment options for winning bidders when they get their winning notification.
• The "Invoice Ready" Message Template should be updated to inform winning bidders what their payment options are (e.g. wait to be contacted, go to the checkout desk, phone or email a contact point, mail a cheque to...)
