FAQ: Issuing Refunds

Question: One of our donors bailed on us - but the item was won and paid for.  How do I issue a refund to the winning bidder?

Answer:  MobilBid is configured to submit payments, but not to request refunds.  You can issue refunds from your Stripe.com dashboard (they won't be reflected in the MobilBid reports, but the patron will get their money back.)

Note #1:  Stripe does not refund their payment processing fees.

Note #2: If you are issuing a refund after the funds have been deposited to your bank account, you'll have to ensure there are sufficient funds in your Stripe account to issue the refund.
