How to Edit a Patron Profile
There are many reasons an administrator may wish to view and change a patron profile:
- Look at, or update, their phone number or email address on file
- Review or update their notification options (e.g. SMS versus Email)
- Review and change their status as a "Tester"
- Review and change their status as a "Trusted" patron
- Correct the spelling of their name
- Review if they have a credit card on file
- Look at their current bids, possibly submit a bid on their behalf
- Look at their invoice and paid/unpaid status
- Make or record a payment against their invoice
- Delete their profile entirely (best done while the auction is in Planning mode)
To access a patron profile: From the auction dashboard >> left-side menu >> Patrons >> search by name or phone or email, or view alphabetically all patrons. When you find the person you want, click on their record to open it up for review. Use the edit ("pencil" icon) should you wish to make any changes. Save changes at the bottom right of their profile.
