FAQ: Item Categories

Question:  Can I group my auction items into defined segments that patrons can search on and display?

Answer:  Yes, you can create and edit as many categories (e.g. Travel, Sports, Jewellery, Fitness, etc) as you require.  The function to manage categories is from the dashboard left-side menu >> Categories.

It is highly recommended that you create and finalize your categories and lot number ranges for each category before you start to add your auction items.

Note:  If you don't assign items to categories, they will be grouped together in a category labelled "Auction Items".  They will be sorted/displayed at the bottom of the list of items patrons will see (assuming you have some items in categories - if no items are in categories, the label at the top will be "Auction Items".)
