FAQ: Non-Winning Bidder Message Text
Question: The default message to non-winning bidders states "you weren't successful on any bids". So if I bid on four, and I won only one - would I get just the winning notification, or do I get multiple messages, one about each item?
Answer: A winning bidder, irrespective of the number of items won or out-bid on, will only get a single end-of-auction message - the "winning" notification. It will show the amount owed and a link to their invoice with exact details of their won items. A patron who may have bid on items but is not a winning bidder on any item will get a single "non-winning" notification.
