FAQ: What's the difference between Broadcasts and Messages?

Question:  What is the difference between "Broadcasts" and "Messages"?

Answer:  A Broadcast is the act of sending out a Message.  You can pre-edit all your Message Templates ahead of time, especially the Custom Templates.  During the auction, use the Broadcast function to actually send out the message to a chosen group of patrons (we recommend choosing just those who are "interested" - they are the ones who have actually logged into the auction.) You can pre-schedule a broadcast (e.g. send out a "one hour to go" reminder) or send one manually at any time (e.g. "look at the new items we just added".)
