FAQ: What are the fees that MobilBid charges?

Question:  What are the fees that MobilBid charges for the use of the system?

Answer:  MobilBid charges 5.5% of the total raised on silent auction and multi-sale items, but a reduced fee of 1.5% on donations and live auction items invoiced through the system.  There is a $250 minimum fee per auction.  We cap our fee at a maximum of $3,500 per auction (e.g. the maximum invoice you would ever get from us is $3,500, even if you raised over $100,000.)  GST/HST are charged to Canadian clients, no taxes are charged to clients in the U.S.A.

Question:  What is included in these fees?

Answer:  All SMS/text messaging fees are included, including the provision of a local (where available) number for SMS registration.  Unlimited telephone and email support during regular business hours.  During the day/evening of your event we'll make available a cell phone number of one of our support team should there be any questions.

Question:  Do you load our items in for us?

Answer:  No, the platform is designed to be self-serve.  All the tools, features and functions are there to allow you to do it yourself.  But we're always happy to help guide you if you have a question or a problem.
