FAQ: Getting a Total of the Valuation of all Items

Question: Is there a way we can find out the total valuation of all of our auction items?

Answer: If you are looking for a sum of all the dollar values in the VALUATION field, unfortunately there is not. That field is a free-format text field used for display purposes and does not get used for any calculations, nor is it exported as part of any of the CSV files that could be put into a spreadsheet.

If you have the same information in the COST field (which patrons never see) the system would be able to calculate the total on the margin report.
