How do I set up custom messages for auctions?

To set up custom messages for auctions, do the following.

  1. From your Organizations screen, find the Organization with the auction you want to set up custom messages.
  2. Click Select Organization.
  3. Then from the Auctions page, find the Auction for which you want to set up custom messages.
  4. Click the Options button.
  5. On the pop-up screen, click the Admin link.

  6. This will take you to the Auction Dashboard page.

  7. Click on Settings on the left menu to access your auction's Settings.
  8. Click on Message Templates to edit the messages
  9. Select one of the Custom Messages to edit. (Email and SMS versions are contained in each template.)
  10. Edit the custom message. When you are done, click Update Auction Message Template button

PRO TIP: Custom Messaging can be used effectively to highlight items, urge participation and as countdown notices toward the end of the auction.
