How to set up automatic messages for auctions?
To set up automatic messages for auctions, do the following…
- From your Organizations screen, find the Organization who's auction you want to edit.
- Click Select Organization.
- Then from the Auctions page, find the Auction for which you want to set up automatic messages.
- Click the Options button at the far right.
- On the pop-up screen, click the Admin Dashboard link.
- This will take you to the Auction Dashboard page.
- Click on Settings on the left menu to access your auction's Settings.

Click on Message Templates to edit the messages
- Select one of the Automated Messages to edit. (Email and SMS versions are within the same template.)
- Edit the contents - when you are done, click Update Auction Message Template button
Pro-Tip: Updating Automated Message Templates is best done while the auction is in PLANNING mode. Custom Message Templates can be prepared and sent during the auction.
