How to set up automatic messages for auctions?

To set up automatic messages for auctions, do the following…

  1. From your Organizations screen, find the Organization who's auction you want to edit.
  2. Click Select Organization.
  3. Then from the Auctions page, find the Auction for which you want to set up automatic messages.
  4. Click the Options button at the far right.
  5. On the pop-up screen, click the Admin Dashboard link. 

  6. This will take you to the Auction Dashboard page.

  7. Click on Settings on the left menu to access your auction's Settings.
  8. Click on Message Templates to edit the messages

  9. Select one of the Automated Messages to edit. (Email and SMS versions are within the same template.)
  10. Edit the contents - when you are done, click Update Auction Message Template button

Pro-Tip: Updating Automated Message Templates is best done while the auction is in PLANNING mode.  Custom Message Templates can be prepared and sent during the auction.
